I try to treat my nails well. I really do. Merely the constant clacking away at the keyboard, coupled with the opening of countless cans of gravy, accept a cost. That's why I'm looking for nail polishes that do more than than merely look good. They also demand to stand up up to the everyday drama/trauma I put my nails through.
I was hoping to find such a smoothen when I tried the new Estee Lauder Pure Colour Blast Lacquers ($19 each). Last month the brand launched a newly reformulated line, calculation viii bold, pigmented shades to their permanent collection (Frozen Fantasy, Rosa Rosa, Hot Coral, Pure Ruddy, Enchanted Garnet, Fuchsia Flame, Majestic Passion and Ultra Violet), as well as eight express edition shades bound exclusively for Nordstrom stores (Sizzling taupe, Oyster Cult, Perfect Tempest, Chocolate Crave, Mega Fuchsia, Violet Diva, Wicked Dark-green and Wild Blue).
I've long loved EL's polishes and really hoped these new ones would be just as groovy equally their predecessors.
By all appearances, they are. The new shades sure look gorgeous on nails, don't they? Vibrant, un-ignorable colors with a end so shiny that it could crusade temporary incomprehension? Hello!
Last calendar week, along with my usual base and pinnacle coats, I wore two coats of Hot Coral on my fingers and Fuchsia Flame on my toes. From the starting time, things looked good; they applied just as smoothly equally I hoped they would.

Just 'twas a dearest non meant to be. Past the cease of the very next day, I started seeing chips — a few on the nails of my right hand, and a large one on my big toe. Past the 5th twenty-four hours, almost all of my fingers and a couple of toes were chipped.
It'due south not a question of loving the fashion these look considering I practise. The polish? Off the hook, but the wearable time isn't near up to par, especially non for a $19 smash shine. Maybe they'll last longer on you (I hope), but I'm gonna have to pass.
PRICE: $19 each
AVAILABILITY: Available now at Estee Lauder counters and as well online
